# Pomodoro Time Tracker vs Commit

The clearest difference is rating: Commit at 5.0 against Pomodoro Time Tracker's 4.6. Commit also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Pomodoro Time Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (37 vs 3) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro Time Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Commit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Commit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro Time Tracker has 37 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 92% of Pomodoro Time Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Commit's.

Pomodoro Time Tracker ships an update monthly, Commit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
