# blocos vs Routine Reminder

The clearest difference is ads: blocos at none against Routine Reminder's shown. blocos also leads on ratings volume (69 vs 1). Routine Reminder's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. blocos sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Routine Reminder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Routine Reminder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: blocos has 69 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of blocos's written reviews are positive against 75% of Routine Reminder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

blocos ships an update weekly, Routine Reminder every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
