# CopyNote vs Flick

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flick at none against CopyNote's 14. Flick also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (98% vs 73%). CopyNote's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 2). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CopyNote sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Flick asks for nothing beyond the download.

CopyNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CopyNote has 31 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of CopyNote's written reviews are positive against 98% of Flick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CopyNote ships an update every 6 days, Flick every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
