# Waffle vs Knot Yourself Studio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Knot Yourself Studio at none against Waffle's 17. Knot Yourself Studio also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Waffle's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waffle sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Knot Yourself Studio asks for nothing beyond the download.

Knot Yourself Studio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Waffle has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
