# Cabela's vs DUX BUX

Cabela's and DUX BUX both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of DUX BUX's written reviews are positive against 49% of Cabela's's. Cabela's's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (30K vs 883). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Cabela's against 4.9 for DUX BUX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cabela's has 30K ratings behind it against 883, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Cabela's's written reviews are positive against 89% of DUX BUX's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
