# ChinesePlus vs 书院

The clearest difference is update cadence: 书院 at every 2 days against ChinesePlus's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ChinesePlus ships an update monthly, 书院 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
