# FARSIGHT TV vs Team Light

The clearest difference is rating: FARSIGHT TV at 4.9 against Team Light's 4.3. FARSIGHT TV also leads on ratings volume (325 vs 6). Team Light's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FARSIGHT TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Team Light sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FARSIGHT TV holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FARSIGHT TV has 325 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of FARSIGHT TV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Team Light's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FARSIGHT TV ships an update every 4 months, Team Light every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
