# FARSIGHT TV vs Vector

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vector at free with in-app purchases against FARSIGHT TV's subscription. Vector also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). FARSIGHT TV's advantage is ratings volume (327 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FARSIGHT TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Vector sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FARSIGHT TV against 5.0 for Vector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FARSIGHT TV has 327 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of FARSIGHT TV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vector's.

FARSIGHT TV ships an update every 4 months, Vector every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
