# mymind vs Flicker

The clearest difference is rating: Flicker at 5.0 against mymind's 4.0. Flicker also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). mymind's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (417 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mymind sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flicker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flicker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mymind has 417 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

mymind ships an update every 3 weeks, Flicker daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
