# Boddle vs Blanchard First

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Blanchard First at none against Boddle's 7. Blanchard First also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Boddle's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boddle sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Blanchard First asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blanchard First holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boddle has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Boddle ships an update every 5 weeks, Blanchard First every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
