# Boddle vs Mathara

The clearest difference is rating: Mathara at 5.0 against Boddle's 4.5. Mathara also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Boddle's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 2) and chart position (#200 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boddle sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Mathara asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mathara holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boddle has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Boddle ships an update every 5 weeks, Mathara every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
