# 8Password vs LargeFileTransfer

The clearest difference is update cadence: LargeFileTransfer at every 2 days against 8Password's every 6 weeks. 8Password's advantage is device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 8Password sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and LargeFileTransfer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
