# BlueFind vs Bluetooth Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: BlueFind at free with in-app purchases against Bluetooth Tracker's subscription. BlueFind also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Bluetooth Tracker's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 20 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlueFind sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bluetooth Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for BlueFind against 4.4 for Bluetooth Tracker. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 68 and 135 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of BlueFind's written reviews are positive against 57% of Bluetooth Tracker's.

BlueFind ships an update every 20 months, Bluetooth Tracker monthly. The most recent releases landed on August 24, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
