# TorahAnytime vs SkillHopper

The clearest difference is ads: SkillHopper at none against TorahAnytime's shown. SkillHopper also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). TorahAnytime's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for TorahAnytime against 5.0 for SkillHopper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TorahAnytime has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of TorahAnytime's written reviews are positive against 100% of SkillHopper's.

TorahAnytime ships an update every 2 weeks, SkillHopper every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
