# kobak vs Dayfly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dayfly at fortnightly against kobak's every 5 months. kobak's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. kobak sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Dayfly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

kobak ships an update every 5 months, Dayfly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
