# Golf Odyssey vs Coded

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coded at every 9 days against Golf Odyssey's every 3 months. Golf Odyssey's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Odyssey sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Coded sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Odyssey ships an update every 3 months, Coded every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
