# Klip Notes vs English

The clearest difference is rating: Klip Notes at 4.0 against English's 1.0. Klip Notes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). English's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Klip Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Klip Notes has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Klip Notes ships an update every 2 months, English every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
