# LaoApp vs OmniChat

The clearest difference is update cadence: OmniChat at every 2 days against LaoApp's weekly. OmniChat also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LaoApp ships an update weekly, OmniChat every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
