# Truthbrush vs BrushPal

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Truthbrush at 52% against BrushPal's 0%. Truthbrush also leads on ratings volume (684 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). BrushPal's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BrushPal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truthbrush has 684 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Truthbrush's written reviews are positive against 0% of BrushPal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Truthbrush ships an update every 9 days, BrushPal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
