# Truthbrush vs GoBalance™

The clearest difference is rating: Truthbrush at 4.5 against GoBalance™'s 4.0. Truthbrush also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). GoBalance™'s advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 52%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoBalance™ sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Truthbrush asks for nothing beyond the download.

Truthbrush holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truthbrush has 684 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Truthbrush's written reviews are positive against 63% of GoBalance™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Truthbrush ships an update every 9 days, GoBalance™ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
