# Spots and Dots vs Spin Bar

The clearest difference is ads: Spots and Dots at none against Spin Bar's shown. Spin Bar's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spots and Dots sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Spin Bar sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spots and Dots ships an update every 2 weeks, Spin Bar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
