# Smart vs I Build Tech™

The clearest difference is rating: I Build Tech™ at 5.0 against Smart's 1.7. I Build Tech™ also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Smart's advantage is ratings volume (136 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

I Build Tech™ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart has 136 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart ships an update every 3 weeks, I Build Tech™ every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
