# Learn German with Seedlang vs SpeakGator

The clearest difference is rating: Learn German with Seedlang at 4.9 against SpeakGator's 3.8. Learn German with Seedlang also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 5). SpeakGator's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn German with Seedlang sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and SpeakGator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn German with Seedlang holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn German with Seedlang has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Learn German with Seedlang's written reviews are positive against 100% of SpeakGator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn German with Seedlang ships an update every 2 weeks, SpeakGator every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
