# CodeX vs BLUEMAX PASS

The clearest difference is update cadence: BLUEMAX PASS at every 2 months against CodeX's every 4 months. BLUEMAX PASS also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CodeX ships an update every 4 months, BLUEMAX PASS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
