# OFTV vs Passes

The clearest difference is rating: Passes at 4.6 against OFTV's 2.7. Passes also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). OFTV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. OFTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Passes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 394 and 613 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of OFTV's written reviews are positive against 45% of Passes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OFTV ships an update monthly, Passes every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
