# Nomad eSIM vs WESTlink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nomad eSIM at 58% against WESTlink's 22%. Nomad eSIM also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 2) and chart position (#187 vs unranked). WESTlink's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WESTlink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nomad eSIM has 17K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Nomad eSIM's written reviews are positive against 22% of WESTlink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nomad eSIM ships an update every 3 weeks, WESTlink every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
