# PPJG vs USGA

The clearest difference is ratings volume: USGA at 22K against PPJG's 2. USGA also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). PPJG's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PPJG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USGA has 22K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PPJG ships an update every 2 months, USGA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 11, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
