# TikCover vs OCR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TikCover at none against OCR's 3. OCR's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OCR sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TikCover asks for nothing beyond the download.

TikCover ships an update every 3 months, OCR daily. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
