# Walk vs The Dari

The clearest difference is ads: The Dari at none against Walk's shown. The Dari also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Walk's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Dari holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walk has 4.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Walk ships an update every 2 months, The Dari every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
