# Proloquo vs BookFlik

The clearest difference is update cadence: BookFlik at every 3 days against Proloquo's every 6 weeks. BookFlik also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proloquo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BookFlik sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proloquo ships an update every 6 weeks, BookFlik every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
