# Working Timer vs Frix

The clearest difference is ads: Frix at none against Working Timer's shown. Working Timer's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Working Timer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Frix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Working Timer ships an update every 2 weeks, Frix every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
