# Scantastic vs tour

The clearest difference is ads: tour at none against Scantastic's shown. Scantastic's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scantastic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and tour sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scantastic ships an update every 4 days, tour every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
