# ShotStat Live vs Mariners Club

The clearest difference is rating: Mariners Club at 4.0 against ShotStat Live's 2.8. ShotStat Live's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mariners Club holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShotStat Live has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShotStat Live ships an update every 2 months, Mariners Club every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
