# Catgotchi vs Class Echo

The clearest difference is price: Catgotchi at Free against Class Echo's $19.99. Catgotchi also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 6) and review sentiment (83% vs 71%). Class Echo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Catgotchi is free to download; Class Echo costs $19.99 up front. Catgotchi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Class Echo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Class Echo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catgotchi has 1.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Catgotchi's written reviews are positive against 71% of Class Echo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Catgotchi ships an update every 3 months, Class Echo every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and June 5, 2026 respectively.
