# Tiny Weather vs Fresh Weather

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tiny Weather at 151 against Fresh Weather's 2. Tiny Weather also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Fresh Weather's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Weather sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Fresh Weather sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fresh Weather holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiny Weather has 151 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tiny Weather ships an update every 4 weeks, Fresh Weather every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
