# Habit Rabbit vs LiveFirst

The clearest difference is ads: LiveFirst at none against Habit Rabbit's shown. LiveFirst also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). Habit Rabbit's advantage is ratings volume (8.8K vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Rabbit sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and LiveFirst sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveFirst holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Habit Rabbit has 8.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Habit Rabbit ships an update every 5 weeks, LiveFirst weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
