# Clapper vs Zeko Chat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Zeko Chat at 100% against Clapper's 53%. Zeko Chat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). Clapper's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (86K vs 5). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clapper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Zeko Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clapper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clapper has 86K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Clapper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zeko Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clapper ships an update every 8 days, Zeko Chat every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
