# bartleby vs Homework.ai

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Homework.ai at 93% against bartleby's 24%. Homework.ai also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). bartleby's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 317). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bartleby sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Homework.ai sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework.ai holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bartleby has 2.5K ratings behind it against 317, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of bartleby's written reviews are positive against 93% of Homework.ai's.

bartleby ships an update monthly, Homework.ai fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
