# bartleby vs CamSolve

bartleby and CamSolve both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of CamSolve's written reviews are positive against 24% of bartleby's. CamSolve also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). bartleby's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 72). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bartleby sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and CamSolve sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for bartleby against 4.3 for CamSolve. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bartleby has 2.5K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of bartleby's written reviews are positive against 100% of CamSolve's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
