# Weather 247 vs Flowgraphy

The clearest difference is ads: Weather 247 at none against Flowgraphy's shown. Weather 247 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Flowgraphy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather 247 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flowgraphy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weather 247 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flowgraphy has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Weather 247 ships an update every 8 months, Flowgraphy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
