# Toxx vs Lemon Diary

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Lemon Diary at 1.2K against Toxx's 19. Lemon Diary also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). Toxx's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toxx sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lemon Diary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lemon Diary holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lemon Diary has 1.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Toxx's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lemon Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Toxx ships an update every 2 months, Lemon Diary fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
