# Toxx vs Onenote

Toxx and Onenote both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of Toxx's written reviews are positive against 17% of Onenote's. Onenote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (135 vs 19). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toxx sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Onenote sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Toxx holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onenote has 135 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Toxx's written reviews are positive against 17% of Onenote's.

Toxx ships an update every 2 months, Onenote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
