# Flip clock vs Always On

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flip clock at 4.9K against Always On's 12. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per year and Always On sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Flip clock against 4.7 for Always On. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip clock has 4.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.
