# Flippy vs WilliStudy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WilliStudy at none against Flippy's 10. WilliStudy also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 59%) and iOS requirement (17.4 vs 26.0). Flippy's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flippy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months. WilliStudy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flippy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Flippy's written reviews are positive against 80% of WilliStudy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flippy ships an update every 9 days, WilliStudy every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
