# Verbs German Dictionary vs Thesaurus

The clearest difference is rating: Verbs German Dictionary at 4.9 against Thesaurus's 1.0. Verbs German Dictionary also leads on ratings volume (453 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Thesaurus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Verbs German Dictionary sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Thesaurus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Verbs German Dictionary holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Verbs German Dictionary has 453 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Verbs German Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thesaurus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Verbs German Dictionary ships an update every 3 weeks, Thesaurus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
