# SchoolPass vs Tapps TMS

The clearest difference is rating: SchoolPass at 4.7 against Tapps TMS's 1.8. SchoolPass also leads on ratings volume (4.9K vs 69). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SchoolPass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 4.9K ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of SchoolPass's written reviews are positive against 24% of Tapps TMS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SchoolPass ships an update monthly, Tapps TMS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
