# SchoolPass vs Seton Service

The clearest difference is update cadence: Seton Service at daily against SchoolPass's monthly. Seton Service also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SchoolPass's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Seton Service holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SchoolPass ships an update monthly, Seton Service daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
