# Instant Guard vs Versa Link

The clearest difference is rating: Versa Link at 4.7 against Instant Guard's 3.4. Versa Link also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Instant Guard's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Versa Link holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Guard has 61 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Instant Guard ships an update every 2 months, Versa Link every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
