# Instant Guard vs HOAONE

The clearest difference is rating: HOAONE at 5.0 against Instant Guard's 3.4. HOAONE also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). Instant Guard's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HOAONE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Guard has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Instant Guard ships an update every 2 months, HOAONE every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
