# Developer vs HipMark

The clearest difference is update cadence: HipMark at every 3 days against Developer's every 3 weeks. Developer's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Developer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HipMark sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Developer ships an update every 3 weeks, HipMark every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
